Everyone calls him Doc the Comedian or Michael "Doc" Davis.

He is enjoying the high-speed road to entertainment like comedy, film, sketch comedy, Radio, T.V. and more. It has offered opportunities to meet GREAT people and the honor to work with many as well. He works with local and national celebrities such as Rick Gutierrez, Sharpe Dunaway, Chucky D, Tommy Kelley, Jeff Allen, Mike Kennedy, Jennifer Trafford, Doug Kramer, Eric Brown, Jason Thompson, Eric Counts, Jim Pate,  Angry Patrick, Martin Walsh, Roger Sheppard and several others. Doc has been in publications like Arkansas Free Press, Sync Magazine, Times, Charity / Special Event publications and others along with postings on several websites. Regardless of all of that, he truly believes his ride is only fueled by the love and support of friends, family and fans. 

Doc enjoy's comedy and entertainment so much that he developed a promotional site for comedians called State of Comedy (http://www.stateofcomedy.com), formerly known as ComedianZone.com.  He created the show called WTF Comedy (http://www.wtfcomedy.com) that contains promotional videos, sound bites, booking information and more.  He is also a co-founder of the annual Arkansas' Funniest Person contest and an orginal host.

Making people laugh and possibly making a difference in people’s lives is his goal in everything he does. He supports organizations against child abuse (C.A.S.A., B.A.C.A., etc…), so he even became a Court Appointed Special Advocate to raise awareness and funds. Another goal is to get as big as the laughter he plans to hear. He is always looking forward to meeting people and becoming friends with each and every one. He has no problem making fun of himself just as much as he does about the things around him. Life is entirely too short to not find humor in all of it. All life is better if you can smile and laugh. His motto is simply ‘Laughter is the Best Medicine’.

He primarily has a clean but still a very diverse comedic / entertainment style, from clean to whatever the event throws at him. Prepare to hear the unexpected, because it will happen. He even has the tendency to shock and make himself laugh. His life has always been on the hilarious side and he will be sharing quite a bit of it with you. 

Keep watching the big screen, He plans on being there one day or at least on T.V. in commercials, short films, hosting shows, Comedy Central, and wherever else his dreams take him... ok some of his dreams are a little scary and he doesn’t want to go there...

He has started a concept called TheDOCtv.com that will be a funny approach to serious topics on the street, stores, bars, restaurants, businesses, with politicians, and much more... He is targeting mid 2009 for this to be a much bigger focus and a launch.

In his comedy and entertainment, he will approach topics like his geek / nerdy background • Family • Politics • Religion • Hobbies • Animal Incidents • Woman vs. Men • Kids • Divorce • Work • Drinking/Drugs • Travel • Military • ’What was he thinking’ • and more... He has friends that will be participating and / partnering up with him that he plans to take up the latter with him. There will be videos and CD’s available.
